Matt is a Brooklyn and New York based Writer, Actor, and Comedian. Originally from a small conservative farm town in Pennsylvania, he moved to New York in 2013 with enough emotional damage to inspire him to pursue a career in entertainment.
Matt attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In May of 2017, he received his B.F.A. in Theatre, cum laude. Matt entered school bright-eyed and thinking that all he wanted to do was musical theatre. However, he exited hardened and a little cynical. In actuality he's incredibly soft and still mostly positive. His focuses and desires did change during his education though. He came out realizing he had a passion for writing and creating content that he felt was missing from the current film and television markets.
Matt pulls from his own experience as a queer person in effort to create characters and stories that used be the butt of joke and place them in control of their narrative.
